Barbara Boillat
Barbara is a physiotherapist educated and trained in Switzerland. After acquiring her bachelor’s degree in 2016 she worked for one of the leading rehabilitation centres for accident victims, Rehaklinik Bellikon, in Switzerland. She was part of the neurological rehabilitation department working in the intensive care unit as well as in outpatient rehabilitation.
Over the past years, Barbara has gained experience across a wide range of areas including intensive care, pulmonary rehab, orthopaedics, and geriatrics. Her primary clinical area of expertise is in the assessment and rehabilitation of neurological conditions such as traumatic brain injuries, stroke, cerebral hemorrhage, nerve plexus injuries, and other neurological diseases. She broadened her knowledge and her skills by attending courses in different fields such as postural control, gait rehabilitation, dizziness treatment, early mobilization, and respiratory therapy.
Her ambition is to help people achieve their goals of independence and quality of life through a holistic and personal approach. Combining professional knowledge and skills with respect, motivation, compassion, enthusiasm, and determination is what she believes is key to success.
In her spare time, Barbara practices different sports such as yoga, tennis, horseback riding, fitness, and skiing. She is a nature lover who enjoys cooking, traveling, music, and hiking.
