I have always wanted to be a “Child Doctor” ever since I was four years old and had my tonsils out at the Great Ormond Hospital, London. There was something about the atmosphere, smells and sounds that touched me to the core at even such a young age. And of course, that I fell in love with the rocking horse that was at the foot of my bed had nothing to do with it.

Now after wishing fervently on every falling star and comet, I am happy to say that I passed all the relevant exams. First in Pakistan and then in Ire-land, to garner over thirty years of experience in my field of expertise. I have now two amazing children who are professionals in their own right and I am very proud of them.

Having lived for nearly 15 years in Dubai, I speak a medley of languages, however I can read write and speak English, German (my mother tongue since my mother was Austrian), and Urdu. I do know a smattering of local Pakistani languages, Tagalog and what I call “Medical Arabic”.

Besides general paediatrics, that includes treating childhood diseases, monitoring growth and development, being certified in Neonatal Resuscitation, Basic and Advanced Paediatric Life Sciences gives me the confidence to react swiftly in cases of emergencies.

Practicing as a Reiki master, I am a firm believer that less is more in case of children’s health. There are a lot of paediatric conditions that can be addressed with natural remedies and basic discussions to create team efforts with parents for optimal and holistic health awareness for their children’s wellbeing.
